Highways and directions from Lutsk
A highway call differs from a city one: the dispatcher needs the vector and the point fast. Name the direction ("the Kyiv highway", "towards Volodymyr"), the nearest place from the lists below and a landmark — a kilometre post, a fuel station, a turn-off. Below are the seven working directions from our Lutsk base: which highways we take, the places along each and what is worth knowing about every vector.
RAY-01 · М19 (E85)
Kovel direction
// Domanove – Kovel – Lutsk – Dubno – Ternopil – Chernivtsi
The M19 corridor to the north-west: through Rozhyshche towards Kovel. The longest leg of our working zone — calls here are mostly highway work.
RAY-02 · Р14
Kolky direction
// Lutsk – Kivertsi – Kolky – Manevychi
P14 to the north-east: past Kivertsi towards Kolky and on to the Manevychi area. Kolky sits on the Styr river.
RAY-03 · Н22
Kyiv direction (via Rivne)
// Ustyluh – Volodymyr – Lutsk – Rivne
H22 eastbound — Lutsk's "Kyiv" highway: on to Rivne and the M06 towards Kyiv. Derno and Olyka lie along the way.
RAY-04 · Н22
Volodymyr direction
// Ustyluh – Volodymyr – Lutsk – Rivne
H22 westbound: Torchyn, Zaturtsi, then Volodymyr and Ustyluh. Zaturtsi sits right on the highway.
RAY-05 · Н17
Lviv direction
// Lutsk – Horokhiv – Radekhiv – Lviv
H17 to the south-west: Horokhiv, then on to Radekhiv and Lviv. The southern edge of our working zone.
RAY-06 · М19 (E85)
Dubno direction
// Domanove – Kovel – Lutsk – Dubno – Ternopil – Chernivtsi
M19/E85 to the south-east towards Dubno; the Mlyniv turn-off lies along the way.
RAY-07 · Т-03-03
Berestechko direction
// Lutsk – Polonka – Radomyshl – Khrinnyky – Demydivka – Dubno
The southern vector along T-03-03: through Polonka and Promin in the suburb ring, then Khrinnyky and Demydivka — with the road on to Berestechko from there. The Khrinnyky reservoir nearby gets busy in summer.
